Mission

Our mission is to develop leadership skills and good citizenship practices in youngsters through community service.

What We Do

Youth4Good started as a small group of people serving meals at a local homeless shelter in 2016 and was founded in 2019 as nonprofit organization.  Our goal was to seek opportunities for families with all ages to serve the communities and plant the community service seeds in our youngsters as early as possible. Why?
  • Helping others makes people happy!
  • Build a better community together and make an impact.
  • Learn new skills and gain new knowledge by helping others.
  • Interact with people from all walks of life.

Youth4Good strives to serve the low income community and make a meaningful impact.   Currently, more than 140 members and 500 volunteers are in action to serve the community, such as serving meals to the indigent community, helping at farms, tutoring low income students in both US and abroad.  As of September 2023, Youth4Good presented President's Volunteer Service Awards to 133 students and raised $50K+ to support the community.

Hi! My name is Rachel Li, and I’m currently a senior at Mission San Jose High School. I’ve been an active member of Youth4Good for over three years, where I've helped create monthly newsletters, founded Y4G Math Club, and lead various projects and classes. I started having a passion for STEM-related subjects, especially Math, at a very young age, and I have been an avid contestant in various math competitions including USAJMO and Math Prize for Girls. I really enjoy participating in competitions and solving fun and challenging problems with friends. Outside of math, you can find me playing the piano, listening to music, and discussing fun logic puzzles or room escape games with my friends. Through Youth4Good, I am excited inspire younger students to discover their passion, contribute to the community and help those in needs, and work with my peers to make a positive impact!
